Nepharet was Queen of Hanaphuk in ancient Naptesh.

At the time of the Great Dying, in the Third Age [1], Nepharet was the first conspirator of Setesh against King Phatep, the Pharaoh of Tehmet. It is said that she had long recented the rule of Tehmet, and saw Setesh's plot as a chance to elevate her own city. [2]

According to legend, she offered her court in Hanaphuk for the location of the betrayal against Phatep. She hosted a banquet for the king, held at night for the cover of darkness. At the banquet, Nepharet presented a chest of gold and lapis lazuli and challenged to guest to fit themselves in it to win it as a prize. One by one they tried and failed. Finally, Phatep himself was convinced to try it. [2]

When the king had entered the chest, the lid was slammed down y Setesh's lackeys. They then ran the chest through with swords, until the blood of the king flowed. Nepharet and the other conspirators are said to have drank of this blood. [2]
