The Sentinel of Nukuja, often refereed to simply as a Sentinel, is a unit part of the Daemon Legions faction and a greater daemon of Nukuja.
Description[]
The sentinels of Nukuja are said to be tall an gangly creatures, with feathered wings, black eyes[1] and often carrying a staff.[1] Some have been described as part man and part vulture, with the face of an owl. [2]
Although powerful in form, sentinels are said to be watchers, not fighters, moving as little as possible to conserve energy. When they do move, it is often through flight, taking to the skies to secure a better vantage point. They are said to fight using magic, with unparalleled spellcraft. [1]
Some sentinels are said to be carried atop a Dark Pulpit, a platform used to sail across the battle. Some of these held aloft by willpower alone, others carried by lesser daemons. [1]
Summoning[]
Sentinels can supposedly provide great knowledge and insight to those who summon them. However, the summoner risk being put in a catatonic state as a result of the encounter. [1]
